Well I didn't know we had to blog on this..... But I'm confused as to why the author decided to elaborate so much on the one baseball game. I think it's unnecessary to drag out something so simple as that
I wonder if Reuven is really going to be blind after being hit in the eye.... I wonder what will happen to his future if he does become blind. his baseball career might be over
I'm kind of confused as to all the different religions that are being discussed in the book. there are so many different types and all of the strict requirements that are involved within each religion or group.
I agree raven, on both accounts. Wasnt really sure we were supposed to be blogging... And when it came to the beginning of the book, I thought it was really drawn out and almost unnecessary. Unless the baseball game means more to the plot or the story of the book, I was also confused as to why the author went in such elaborate detail.
I hope this book gets good soon because as of right now it has basically no plot and it's just talking about Danny and ruevens friendship and I'm not really sure how that's supposed to mean anything but hopefully it will get good soon because as of right now it is just dragging out discussions about conflicts between religions
I thought the part of the book where Mr Saunders forbids his son to even speak to Reuven was really cruel. It's kind of like a crazy friend that always gets into trouble your parents don't want you hanging around, the only difference being Reuven never did anything wrong.
Danny was raised in such a way that his father shut him out almost entirely emotionally. He thought that Danny was such a smart kid, and that he cared more about being intelligent than he cared about other people. It wasnt until Danny was an adult that his father realized how compassionate he was.
So, because of this, his father finally gives him his blessing to study psychology. It's really touching once Danny and his father finally make up, making Danny feel free for the first time in his life.
How are we presenting the project?
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
