What have you come to realize in your life as a belief? How did you come to this realization? Is your belief different from others? Why do you think that people can view this belief in a different way than you? ***You must respond twice to this blog, once in response to the question, once in response to another student. Both of your responses must be a minimum of 5 sentences in length. "I agree" is not a sufficient response. Also note that what you say is online and open to the public so be wise with your words.

I don't mean that us humans plan out our own fate. I mean that our fate was chosen for us by someone else. Maybe it's someone who's biased for some people. Because some people are happy all the time because they have luck or whatever, others don't, like me. I kinda think all these theories of fate and luck and stuff ties together and is all true in some ways.

I believe that lebron james is a better basketball player then the black mamba. I believe this because lebron has won 4 mvps. How many has kobe won? Not 4. Also, lebron just went back to back. What did kobe do? Barely make the playoffs. Exactly.

You also need to look at age and amount of talent they're surrounded by. Now I agree with you that Lebron is the better basketball player, but you can't just base it off of recent accomplishments. Look what Kobe did in his prime and when he played with shaq. Right now Lebron has both d-wade, bosh, and ray Allen beside him. Not to mention Kobe is really close to retiring.

I agree with you on this one Tyler. Kobe does have more rings, but when all is said and done who knows. Kobe never dominated the league like Lebron is doing right now. He controls the game and can play any position, and Kobe is a very one-dimensional player. Lebron>Kobe.

Not everyone is gonna have the same belief. And I believe that's why we have a lot of disputes now. When a point is made against someone's belief, they want to just get angry and fight over it instead of listening. Everybody in the world is not gonna think the same on a given topic because we're all different. Listening doesn't mean you have to change your beliefs either.

Put it this way guys, Kobe has been in his prime for the past 5 years his time is up unless he gets someone in a trade these next 2 years. Kobe has more Rings than Lebron 5 to 2 (soon to be 3). Lebron is the most dominate player in the NBA and has been for 2 years. Kobe was once at this level now he still is one of the best ALL TIME players second to Jordan. Now I honestly don't like Kobe but rings and wins don't lie! If Lebron wins 3 more Championships he will be better than Kobe all time, but until then we have to give respect and knowledge where it is due. Lebron is my Favorite but he has flunked when he has been given the chance not entirely his fault because he did not have Another ALL TIME Great at Cleveland (Shaq) but now he dose and he is getting better and better so until he gets 5 Kobe has him but the way he is playing 5 is coming so just sit back and enjoy what we get out of these next seasons!!

I see what your saying, kobe and shaq were good, especially when you look at how they had the threepeat in championships. But lebron just won back to back, and if you remember he basically had to pack the team in the clutch. D wade and Bosh just disappeared. Also, i believe kobe's team last year actually had more talent then lebrons. He had steve nash, pau gasol, and the best center in the game dwight howard. If kobe is such a good player, he would have won with that team. But they sucked. So i believe lebron is definitely better, and will reach 5 championships.

I have come to realize that what goes around, comes around. Karma does eventually come around to those who deserve it. If you do wrong over and over, and treat people unjustly then something bad will come to you. Some people don't believe in karma, therefore they believe mean people are just mean. Karma can come in both forms, good and bad.

i couldn't agree more. People treat others in such a cruel way, not even thinking twice about it. One day, those people are going to get hurt, just the way they hurt others, and they will be left wondering "why me?" Or the other way around, people that are always nice to others no matter how mean they are to them, will get good karma. Your actions always bite you in the butt, or pay off in the long run

I'm going to have to disagree with you. I don't think there is such thing as karma. It just depends on how you look at the situations. For example, say I was rude to somebody one day and later in that day I stub my toe on a door hinge. There's really no correlation between the events. It's purely coincidental. If I weren't rude and just stubbed my toe I would think nothing of karma and wouldn't ask myself if it was karma. Karma is just a state of mind.

I agree with Mason. Karma, in my opinion, is just logic. If you continue to practice good deeds it's likely good things will happen to you. That's not to say bad things won't, however. Good and bad things can occur in anyone's life, it's not something you can counteract.

I agree completely. Every time you help someone who needs it, you'll get rewarded for your good efforts or intentions. Yet, if you ignore that someone and don't even care, you'll be punished. Karma can help or hurt you, it all depends on your actions and desicions. People need to realize this.

Words hurt people and i don't believe that anyone has the right to make another person feel bad just because they think differently then that person therefore i believe you should take the other person into consideration and not say what comes to your mind if it is offensive or threatening. On the other hand if its not going to hurt another person i fully support saying what comes to mind.

It is important to hear others' opinions to help you decide of you're making a smart choice, but still follow your heart. I believe in many things, and try to live by them and my morals. I think integrity and self-respect go very far when dealing with other people. You shouldn't always, "say what's on your mind", because usually it isn't necessary and causes unwanted drama. According to my faith, I do agree that we have the ability and power to make choices and shape our lives. I do not however, believe in Karma. I suppose sometimes when you do something nice for a person you will receive some sort of "good" in return. Generally speaking though, I think whenever you do something good for a person you shouldn't expect anything back, the entire point of doing an admirable deed is to benefit the other person, not to get something in return. Being friendly and going out of your way to help someone is a choice after all is a decision that you make, not some coincidence. An actual human being chose to return the favor, or participate in an act of kindness. So instead of it being labeled as Karma, isn't it just making the decision to assist someone or to return the favor? Not just a lucky chance. Sorry If this doesn't make any sense.

Hard work is something I believe in. Whether its during practice or during a game, the way you work will always affect the outcome. So next time you are working hard, or hardly working just remember only you really know your limits and how to push them.

I also believed in hard work, looks like someone copied me. However you make a good point In saying you get what you put into something. I believe you try pretty hard at something and so do I. Well I've basically said what I need to. I'm now jut trying to get to five sentences so I can be done with this. Oh look I'm sentence number six I'm done goodbye Brennan.

I believe in just living your life the way you want to. There's too many people in this world to try and please everyone. Do what makes you happy because it doesn't matter if it makes everyone else happy. You get one life so make the best of it.

I agree! We all try extremely hard every day to please every single person but for what? For them to still judge us at the end? I think we need to live the way we want! To live a life of laughter every second! To be ourselves and be happy day and night!!

I believe that your choices define you, whether you want them to or not. Your choices will reveal your personality as well as your preferences. Never make a choice you think will backfire negatively. Think about your decisions before making them. They could change your future.

I totally agree, if your making bad choices, it makes a great impact in your future. And people do know you by your personality, so you might as well do great things in life.

I believe that everyone and everything is equal. I have come to believe this by looking into the eyes of people and animals and seeing the same emotions. A lot of people think that animals don't have feelings, and can't love, so they don't need to be thought of anyway as humans. They think it's okay to just kill them for fun, and not necessity. I think that's stupid because all you have to do is look into their eyes and see that they have the same emotions as we do.

I believe that true happiness and freedom is accepting your strengths and your weaknesses, and doing the best you can with what you are given

I believe that Verizon is better than AT&T. I've never used a phone on Verizon's plan, but it can't be any worse. It took my thirty minutes to load this page on my phone. THIRTY minutes! There are so many things I could have been doing. I think I'm going to get a new phone, because I believe mine sucks.

I believe that some people take their lives for granted. They don't know what they have and take advantage of it. Be happy with what you have.

I have come to believe religion is an important aspect of one’s life, whether it is prominent or not. Ultimately religion answers a series of questions pertaining to the details of creation. However, more relevant to a person’s character, it is the basis of how you choose to live. Religion entails rules and standards to abide by which affect what kind of person you are and what kind of decisions you make. I think religion is a controversial topic but most can agree it plays a role in one’s life.

I believe that people should take risks in life, and not sit and wait for great things to happen to them. You have to get up and find what you have always wanted in life, and new doors will open for you.

In a way I agree with this, but yet again I don't. We do have to take risks in life but we have to see if the risk is worth it or not. We have to get involve in every single second of life and not waste it. Stand up for yourselves and not wait for someone to do it for you... Because most of the time no one will.

Yes, taking risks is part of life. It's about making great opportunitys that will help you become a better person and be successful. Taking a risk is not about skipping a class and hoping not to get caught. Like you said, you have to see whether your risk is worth it or not. It can either bring you up or just bring you down. You are the only person in charge of your own future, so make the right decisions.

I have come to believe that we should appreciate the things that we have because they could go away at any time.We shouldnt take things for granted. Espically loved ones because there may not be a time when they are there for you. We need to cherish the moments that we have with people.

As likely the last person to give a response to this (as I seem to have forgotten about this assignment), I believe that to truly enjoy life, one should live it in the moment, which is to say a bit slower than you're used to. I've learned this because, as I'm often told, I drift into space a lot. I drift because I'm thinking ahead. In thinking ahead, I tend to miss many details that may become important later on. Oh, speaking of which, I also believe that the more you remember what you observe, the more useful what you observe will become. That is all.
